Hi,
I am running windows mail on Vista. When I receive an email say a .doc of pdf I jusr get anerror message saying that there is 'no association' created. I have checked in the defaults program and they were incorrect [I don't know how as they were working before], so I have changed them to the correct default. ie .doc = word. However still no joy and get the error message. I can save the file and open separately but not direct from mail.

Any ideas?

Used to be the case that the "junk mail" updates from MS corrupted settings.
If the system has updated this uninstall it and reboot.
