Thanks.

Same here. I'm using the Chrome browser with as much privacy as I can find turned on. I tried opening the same video in Internet Explorer and it opened without any problem.

No problem for me in the latest version of Firefox

It's probably a cookie problem, works fine for me in Opera though I do have problems using the phones' browser.

No problem here - Firefox.

Click on the ? at the bottom RHS for help.

can't see any "?"
eg when I click on the areal phootage of ,say, motorway accisent, I just have re wheel spinning..on other a yellow wheel.
as you may guess, I'm not very techie.

so do I need to download a program?Don't understand firefox, chrome etc.Used to work but weeks ago it stopped.
"shamefaced with ignorance" :)

It's a Flash/BBC problem, I have the same problem as i have turned off the option to "allow sites to store info on your computer" in preferences.

If I turn the option back on the videos will play. It's the same on the Telegraph site.

Its the same using Firefox or Safari.

It's under System preferences on a mac, but I've no idea on a P.C, sorry.

I've just sorted the Chrome problem

It was a Flash problem, or rather two Flash problems. When Adobe installed the latest Flash update it didn't remove or even disable the previous one, so there were two versions fighting to play. Sorting that, together with allowing the site to store information on my computer, has enabled my PC to play videos on the BBC site.
