Not sure about this one, but the NG version is very well made albeit relatively heavy.
My missus uses one for her work bag, think shoulder rather than messenger would be a better name

I've had one of the 7DS bags like that for 3 years, and it looks little like the NG bag linked other than the D rings on the front, being wider and having double front pockets. It's strong, comfy, not too heavy and will take a smaller DSLR plus a couple of lenses & accessories and a laptop. I would agree that it is a shoulder bag.
