I'll be getting a 48" x 36" canvas done, but having went through loads of companies I'm more confused than ever.
Prices vary from £73 to £120 which is not my concern, but the quality is.

So far I have:

1clickcanvas
outlook images
Point101

Oxford will not accept a 7mb upload.

The image is of a deep crimson rose with water droplets which are very sharp, I don't want to loose any of the detail.

Any help appreciated.

I've tried getting in touch with Lee (I've had 2 from him before), but his website is not working properly, email not working and sent him a PM on Thursday (unread).

There's a company just over the road from us called Eye Candy. I know the owners and they really are fanatical about quality. To give you a feel, for several years they had the contract with the Natural History Museum to do prints of the Wildlife Photographer of The Year images for the public to buy.

Their canvas print product information page is here. They aren't cheap, but I have a stack of 30% off introductory offer flyers on my desk....

Have you tried the Oxford Imaging Company:shrug:

I had two small 12x15 canvases done earkier in the year and they are great. They also reprinted one next day as one was bled round the edge and the other not (they should have both been bled).

Email Oxford, Richard is ever so helpful and am sure he will accept a large file.

I just used Oxford for a customer order of 36x24inch Canvases and the feedback I received was excellent - good customer service too from Richard, if you contact him he'll provide you with an FTP address for you to upload large files.

I've also used ISL Photographic (previously Togsprint) and always had good feedback too - they do seem to be becoming difficult to contact though so not sure what's happening there:shrug:

I recently used Vista Digital in Longridge near Preston, very pleased with the canvas they made for me. It's a black and white which isn't the easiest thing to print well on an inkjet, but they pulled it off, and ran off several samples to take a look at so that I was happy with the end result. The guy who runs it (can't remember his name) is also a fine art photographer, so he knows his stuff.

Don't know about upload sizes as I took the file in on a USB stick.
