Every time I swap over a lens, the rear cap from the new lens is placed on the rear of the one I am taking off and often I find I have a Sigma cap on the rear of a Canon or Tamron lens or vice versa.
And then when you use an extender you have 2 caps to contend with, somehow I have misplaced the front cap for my Canon 1.4 Extender - I think I may have inadvertently placed it on a set of extension tubes which I have subsequently sold..................
The front cap is very similar to the one that would fit onto the camera body, but is obviously a little deeper to clear the front of the lens.
Can someone please check and see if there is a part number for the front cap for a Canon 1.4 Extender so I can order the correct replacement assuming it is available as a spare?
