Plenty of signs around South Africa saying 'do not feed the Baboons'... but here it all seemed a bit organised with small piles of nuts placed at intervals along the road - and a guy with a big stick stood watching the proceedings.

The Baboons seemed well fed so I guess the danger was low. I got out of the car and joined in the snap fest!

Plenty more here

#1 and #2

Nice shots, when I was there in October they were not fed and just there on the side of the road, and no locals about

Great baboons shots. You have to watch out for them, though - they usually go for the neck when defending their babies and they have huge teeth!

Here's one I took at the top of Du Toits Kloof Pass, also in the Cape, in 2006 ;)
