Hi all
Given the lockdown, I am stuck in Stevenage where my partner lives.
Of all the things I really don't like about the place, there is one that is bittersweet. . .
The street lights are switched off at night, almost entirely, throughout the entire place. Which is great for little light pollution.
So, now I want to try astrophotography.
From what I have seen and read, it can be very rewarding, but also quite difficult. Even though I like the idea of star trails in SOME pictures, I would prefer just being able to catch the amazing heavens.
My current kit:
Nikon D7k
Nikkor 35mm 1.8
AF-S Nikkor 16-85mm 3.5
Nikkor 70-200
Manfrotto 496RC2 with QR plate
To help, I was advised to get something like the Skywatcher Star Adventurer Mini Pro Pack.
Are these things any good?
Also, any other advice?
