Car Charger for 5D mk II

Does anyone here use a car charger for a 5D or a 7D?

I am thinking about getting one, but not sure if they function properly with the original 5d battery or not....

edit: 3rd party of course as the canon branded one costs a fortune!

that's not a bad idea actually.. better than buying a dedicated charger...

I don't think I would risk charging something longer than 30 min if the car is not running...

We got a twin socket outlet version from a local motor parts retailer and it's great. I often use it to power my laptop or camera chargers while the kids watch the dvd player. Very handy but definitely not for using while its not running.
