I'm off on a road trip next month and won't have access to mains electricity for most of it. Can anyone recommend a car charger I can use to charge up batteries?

I have an Ansmann Vario which came with a mains adapter and a car lighter connect lead. It'll charge Li-ion (eg camera) batteries via adjustable contacts, and AA / AAA rechargeables.
 
Can you not get an inverter to run off you cigarette lighter and use your normal charger?
 
I have a couple of universal chargers that now handle almost all my camera battery charging duties. A Hahnel UniPal Plus (which has a charge state indicator and a USB port) and a Uniross one which can do almost any LiIon camera or phone battery but has no extras. Both came with mains and car power leads. Both can also charge a pair of AA or AAA cells.
 
I didn't think about universal chargers. The Hahnel UniPal Plus is now on the amazon list of things to buy. Thanks for the suggestions!
