Despite Carbonite's promise of "unlimited back-up" I have just discovered that once your back-up reaches 200GB your ability to add to it is seriously limited by the restrictions on upload speeds they impose. This information is well hidden in the small print.
I wondered why my back-up appeared to have stalled despite the computer being left on 24/7.
There was no announcement about this restriction that I have been aware of.
Current and potential users beware!
