We have recently. Bought a canon 20d and some kingston CF 4gb cards
I am shooting raw at the finest setting large.

Twice now after shooting for a while the display is coming up with cf error and I can't recover the photos unless using a program on the Mac.

Is there a reason why it is doing this could it be poor quality cards?:shrug:
 
A lot of cameras will not accept all the sizes of Kingston cards.
 
tried an oldish kingston 2gb cf in my 20D, same thing happened. Tried a Kingston 1gb SD card in my lumix compact, wouldn't write anything. Never bought a Kingston SD or CF card since.

Touch wood never had that problem with SanDisk Ultra, and the 40,000-odd shots I've taken with them.
