Carl Zeiss Lens Cap

Lost my lens cap off a waterfall! probably lucky that's the only thing that went wrong, whilst climbing up a rock face with my tripod and camera..

any suggestions where I can buy a replacement cap?

Do them. Zeiss lens caps are absolutely terrible though. Is it a 72mm pinch cap? If so:

It is a pinch cap, maybe i'll get a canon one then.. the one on my 85mm fits it fine.

I have a Zeiss 21mm f/2.8, a Zeiss 100mm f/2 and had a Zeiss 25mm f/2.8 ZM and always hated the caps. Great optics, great hoods, terrible caps.

The cheap ebay centre pinch caps are great, they're better than any Canon cap I've ever had.

Oh ok, maybe i'll try the ebay pinch cap - because it'd be better with hood in place i guess

yeah those cheap ebay ones are the best caps, sony has a similer but not as good design.

Canon have now changed their design to match these
