I was in Carlisle on my with time to kill so I went to the Cathedral to take some photos. This is first I have processed and the shot I wanted.

What do you think?

It's a very interesting ceiling and I can understand why you wanted to capture it - there is some distortion which is quite critical in a shot with so many lines like this but interesting shot.

Thanks Gramps I finally remembered How to set guide lines so will have another go at sorting the distrotion. The distortion is minor compared to the initial stitch.

Here is a version thats a bit better

This is 6 shots stitched I took the shots from the same spot I am wondering if I should have moved along the floor and used a longer lens.

Interesting shot. However the ceiling and structure is rather too long to show with out distortion.
Since it is an overall design I would prefer an oblique shot from one end looking up at an angle, which is more like you would see it in reallife.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I think I will have another go though done differently.
