Carrying camera bag?

While I love spending the day shooting at a motorsport event, I do find lugging my bag about a pain ( normally a couple of bodies with lens attached, couple more lens and various bits).
I thought about putting my camera bag (Lowepro) into a toolbox with wheels to drag about after me. The main thing that concerns me is the jolting it would get going over grass etc. in your opinon do you think the lens and bodies are up to it? (D300, a 300mm F2.8 and a 70 - 200 mainly). They would be in the lowepro backpack I use.
Other advantages are I copuld stand on the box to shoot over fences, somewhere to sit.
Disadavntages less mobile, e.g stairs ard bridges over the course. But like I said my main concern is the jolting all the kit would get, am I being over concerned:thinking:

Any ideas on merits or not would love to here:)

Er, I'd seriously reconsider putting wheels on your bag and dragging it around behind you as you may end up looking a bit of a twonk! If you're having a problem carrying kit then cut down on the amount you're carrying. Limit yourself to the kit you know you'll use. You said you normally carry a couple of bodies...perhaps there lies the problem? ;)

I've seen people use fishing boxes with wheels at Cadwell Park. As long as the wheels aren't too small you should be fine. You could always add some extra padding to absorb the bumps.

Bigger wheels on trolleys for anglers and golfers.

I know there was one disadvantage i forgot to list.
i have left one of the bodies behind before and it doen't make that much difference and I do tend to use all that I take

seen the same people, had thought about adding foam to the bottom of the box:)

Hadt thought of using a anglers box, will have to look ans see:thumbs:

Seriously? Take only what you need for shooting and leave the empty bag in your car...

If you need extra lenses or a flash, invest in some belt-pouches...
