Carrying your Sigma 120-300 f2.8 OS EX DG

As the title says guys how do you carry yours. I hand hold most of the time and travel without tripod and rarely even monopod. One of the main reasons I chose this OS lens.
Anyway I carry mine with the lens strap mounted to the single mounting point on the lens. It has my 7D attached with often a 1.4 or 2x tc.
The Sigma strap isn't ideal, so I was wondering whether you have any different arrangements.

I intend to use a Black Rapid RS7 on mine. More for security against DROPPING the bloody thing

I carry mine by the tripod mounting including when mounted to the mono pod. Just have to be careful not to drop it. Must agree I usualy use mine hand held including with the 2x convertor, probably explains my fuzzy images.

Carry mine by the handle with the lens strap round my neck, usually have a monopod attached as well.

Was wondering about the black rapid RS-7 myself but usually have the cameras on my left side. Wasn't sure about the strap being worn backwards.

There is always the RS4. That has a straight shoulder pad so could be worn either side??

I just cradle it like you would a baby in the crook of one arm, no straps
