Case for cycling

Hi Guys,

Im after a case for my D5100. after searching through the various threads on here there are lots of recommendations for slings and backpacks.

My problem is I cycle a fair bit and always have a big bag with various tools (pump, spanner ect) as well as a sketchbook.

With this in mind im looking for a case i can put inside my bag to keep my camera safe when im out. Currently have the 55-200 lens on it although im about to purchase the 35mm prime.

Any suggestions welcome
 
sorry i posted up a small lowepro but it was for a compact and not suitable for d5100

Kieran, your best option is to probably go for a handlebar or rack mounted bag, and fit some extra padding in it around your camera.

I have carried my camera (Nikon D80 + 28-75) in panniers and just wrapped some light clothing around it
 
I have a neoprene cover, which I wrap in my waterproof jacket or a fleece and chuck the whole lot in my rucksack.
 
How about an insert for your current sack?

If you Google for 'padded camera bag insert', you find lots.
