After my recent bad deal with c.e.x I should be wary of these types of shops but curiosity often takes over .. so one evening last week I was browsing and spotted a advert for cash converters new website , jumped in went to the cameras section and started looking .. with the same caveat as c.e.x the shop staff have totally no idea of what there selling so prices tend to be either over or under market values usually the former ..
this is where product knowledge comes in handy I spotted a olympus lens that was £20 overpriced but looking at the advert photo closely I spotted a adaptor on the lens worth circa £200 after a bit of humming and arrghing I went for it ..
it arrived by RM tracked 48 just bubble wrapped in a envelope thankfully it was un damaged .. the lens itself is perfect and fully operational the glass clear and spotless , it came with a .u.v filter to ,now removed .
And yes the adaptor a now rare item was attached to the lens as well . Quiet chuffed as it’s not an item I need so that’s pure profit when I sell it .LOL
