Castle Combe Summer Action Day Drift Demo

They had a drift demo session at Castle Combe today, 15 minutes to shoot my heart out (we don't tend to get any drifting down in the south west!) I could have shot these all day, so much to work with compositionally, the only difficult bit was grabbing breaks between the smoke to get any sort of contrast in each shot.

Excellent shots. I'm going to try 1/60 and 1/30 at our local track night today at Teesside Autodrome. Its a perfect freebie for practicing panning.

I'd love something like that around here, drifting is a very northern thing! I see they are at Silverstone in October so I may look in to what the viewing is like for that.
