Third time I've been to Hadrians Wall and the weathers been lousy each time.Sat in the car for 30 mins waiting for a break in the rain to take this

Looks like that 30 minute wait was worth it. Great reflection in the very calm water.

I like this one. The rock in the foreground really hooks my eye into the shot. The detail in the foreground submerged stones compliments the image. The composition is comfortable to view with nice tones.

Horizon just off centre really works.

Can i ask what the shutter speed was, and if you used any filters?

Thanks:) It was 25 secs at f8 with a big stopper
 
Lovely composition and great monochrome, my sort of shot! (at least,what I aspire too.)
