Hi guys, my mate has an old Centon df-300 film camera laying around that someone gave him. He has no use for it but i could have.

Firstly is it worth my time using it? it has a couple of lenses with it, a something to 200mm and a smaller 18-77 or something like that.

Anyone have any experience with these cameras?

If it works it'll do. It takes Minolta MD lenses, of which the 45mm F2 I think is an absolute gem of a lens!
 
Minolta clone? MF lenses?

I suppose if you fancy giving film a go? Personally I think I've given up now.
The lenses may fit a Sony DSLR, if you get bored with film, check though.
 
no chance of them fitting a nikon d3000 then lol, ill see if he wants to pass it on to me, theres some old film in the bag that needs developing too :)
 
If you don't really want it maybe you could find a charity or student to pass it on to. That would be better than binning it.
