CF Mem card sandisk differences?

First one is 120MB's Speed the Second one is 60MB's Speed, so the first one is twice as fast basically...

i know :) hence my post.. from the same shop.. made by the same company and exactly the same price even though one is twice as fast.. so was wondering if I am missing somehting? wouldnt you expect the twice as fast to be more expensive?

Well with card prices these days I wouldn't be surprised about anything regarding the pricing, I bought two 128GB's the other week and they came up far cheaper at the time than the 64GB Options which were a slower speed?? Bit Stupid pricing if you ask me, anyway's I don't think your missing anything I think that is the companies issue with their pricing :D

As far as I know the gold branded Extreme cards are newer, hence faster, and sometimes retailers leave older cards at their original price (often more expensive than the new equivalent).

UDMA 7 is the latest/fastest spec but you would need to know if your camera can make best use of it??

yes udma7 on a canon 1dx :)

juat bought two gold 120mb/s 16gb cards.. 49 quid total from MyMemory to replace older sandisk 60mb cards

Recently at ASDA they were selling 8GB SD cards reduced from (I think) £12 to £10 and 16GB SD Cards reduced from (I think) £16 to £10. Needless to say I bought three 16GB cards.

I do have larger cards (64GB) but I tend to prefer having a bunch of smaller cards so that I can shoot Raw + JPEG and let someone take away the JPEGS while I keep the raws. Cheap 16GB cards are good for this.
