Cf toSD adapter question

I have just aquired a Canon 5D mk11, I have a number of good quality SDHC cards and am thinking of using a CF adapter to use them in the 5D,Has anyone used this method and have any recommends please?
 
I bought an adapter to allow me to use SD cards in my 7D, it worked, but it was very slow. It's now left in the camera bag, just in case I run out of CF cards.

These adapters also introduce another set of contacts - every set of contacts gives the potential to cause problems.

My verdict - stick to CF cards.

My experience is the same as Foxbat Flyer ... only use the SD cards and adaptor in emergencies.
 
I will support the above posts. I too have one but I will not use it unless in an absolute emergency. Better to buy more CF cards.
 
In agreement with everyone else, I have an adapter too, although unneeded anymore as my new camera takes SD only, even when putting a very fast SD in to them they limit speeds to a fraction of what the SD is capable of, I used mine once then it became redundant in the bottom of my camera bag
