Hi everyone

I thought I would share with you some changes we have made in our studio (TipTop Photography, Birmingham)- we have had our indoor graffiti wall repainted and 4 set areas re designed.

Would love to hear your thoughts

Thanks for the reply. Being from sunny brum myself im looking to get some studio time in soon BUT never used a studio and have no knowledge. Do you cover this?

Absoloutely - we hire out the studio and offer technical support/assistance if required by the photographer.

Drop me a PM with your email address and we can chat further.

Nice setup!

May I suggest black floor-to-ceiling drapes for the infinity curve room that you can pull out when you don't want light bouncing at your subjects from all directions and are looking for harsh light and shadows? I'd also do the ceiling in black but that's a personal preference I guess :)

Very nice too!

I bet you wish you had another few feet of space in the infinity wall studio though :crowded:

It looks excellent, a very professional set up. My only observation is the waiting area which, on my iPhone screen, looks a little austere. Is there anyway of making it look more relaxed and less like an NHS waiting room?

Hi Vaizki

This is the next phase - a black floor to ceiling drap which will be on a pole - it can be pulled across when needed.

Not sure about the ceiling, what does anyone else think?

Thank you :)

The doors that open into the infinity wall studio allow another 10 foot of standing space for the tog if requried - kinda hard to show it as it looks in 'real life'.

Thank you again - the room you have seen is actually our training room.

We have a seperate waiting/lounge/viewing room area - nice bright white walls, black sofa area, framed prints on the wall, plasma tv, drinks etc...

We like to change things on a regular basis - we have a lot of photographers who use our studio on a weekly basis so the need to keep it looking professional but different is a must for us.
