Spent the weekend at Chatsworth Nissan International Horse Trials in Derbyshire. Have enclosed afew photos from the event:

I reckon I was stood right behind you part of the day on Sunday ;)
 
Gotta be #1 for me, the riders pose and the direction he's looking in complements the composition.
 
This is a great set. I'm glad you haven't stripped the exif data, as I was interested to see aperture only 5.6. I wouldn't have tried that, thinking it would not give enough dof to keep rider and horse sharp, but clearly it does!

I like #1 especially not only for the reasons given above, but for the great contrast between the energy, effort, intensity and concentration of the horse and rider, and the laid back relaxation of the spectators in the background.

A great set of photographs, hard to choose which I prefer the most, 1 probably just steals it
