Midlands Chatsworth (this weekend)

I'm going down to support family doing the pink ribbon run/walk this weekend in the above estate, i'm in a 'moonboot' and my wife can't walk far atm.
I'm taking the 'paricipants', so should be able to park in their designated car park.

We'll have about 4 hours to kill there, can anyone tell me if the gardens will be suffice to get around for a couple of hours and if they'll be far from the walks start?

I'm not sure about the actual walk but I can easily spend a day in the Gardens alone (you have to pay to get in, of course there is also the house to explore, again you have to pay.)
