Yup. You'll end up paying pretty much what you'd pay at a UK retailer.

It may be a grey import from Hdew but they do use a UK based Canon approved repair centre for any warranty claims and they give good service and a UK VAT registered receipt. I received mine on saturday from Hdew and it's excellent. You can get it at www.onestop-digital.com for under £2,700 but I don't think that'll have a UK warranty and it's only for a year http://www.onestop-digital.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=34044 You pays your money and takes your choice !!

yes your right and they only used authrised canon and nikon repair centers, many people on here have used them with no problem not even for repairs, i have a d700 from them top service at a great price. and if my nikon d700 has a fault it will be fixed via my nikon pro service as does my other gear.

i know someone on here had the 7d fixed with no probs what so ever.

This one is real - with a UK guarantee - but an import... Lot's of positive feedback - and great price.

I happen to know that Stuart at Digital Depot, where I got mine from, has three bodies coming in tomorrow... They are fully UK bodies!
