Cheap bridge camera suggestions ?

One of the kids who takes part in the photography course I run wants to get something better than the old compact she uses.
She has a budget of £100, maybe slightly more (I guess that means up to about £130, but not any more. How do 10 year old's have so much money anyway ?)
So, anyone who what might be worth a look ?
I suggested a bridge camera but know nothing at all, and a few minutes googling tells me that she will be quite limited for choice, but any help much appreciated - Thanks
 
Lumix FZ28's have a pretty good reputation. They seem to be going for around the £100 mark on Ebay. If your really lucky you might be able to get an FZ35/38 for the top end budget, but doubtful TBH.
 
I'd be tempted by a used Fuji S9600/S1000fs or there may be a newer one in budget.
Big and black like dads camera, twisty zoom- like dads camera. But very easy to use, has full manual mode, will do Macro, Video, take a flashgun, shoot raw, has a trendy flippy out screen etc.

My 8 and five year old will both use mine, whilst it is a little bulky, they manage.

The twisty zoom is fast and quiet, unlike a motorised lens, and it takes AA batteries.

My thoughts on this for a kid is that you need to give them a camera with as many whistles and bells on it to keep them happy (video mode, flippy out screen) whilst still being able to use it as a proper camera.

All my gallery is shot on my s9600.

I used an S9600 for a while, good camera for DSLR like control without the price tag.
