Cheap Cable release's?

I know you get for what you pay for, but has anyone got/purchased a cheap Cable release and been happy with it? Going on holiday in 3 week's and the last 2 thing's that slipped my mind has been P filters and a cable release (something i forgot last year to purchase).

Money's abit tight and ive seen a few on Ebay that are around the £3 mark. I'm looking at second hand Canon RS 60E3's, which are coming in around £5-10, if i can get one of these, should i over the cheaper version that does the same thing?

they work fine, it's a switch, not much to go wrong.

As backup, you can always just do the self timer trick...

got mine off amazon for £4 for my nikon D300, works a treat.

Bought a cheapie equivelant to the TC-80N3, it does what I need and I'm generally happy with it. One minor niggle is that it doesn't have an on/off button which would be handy (don't know if the OEM has one either).

Cheer's guy's, Was going to make one,however when i added up the cost of parts, wasn't really worth it as it was coming out around £15 and i could buy one for that
