Cheap CF cards and small tripod

Going on holiday in a week, and I'm not sure I'll take my laptop so I'm going to need quite a few CF cards! I have three 4GB cards now and I shoot a 50D with full size RAW and JPEG, so I'm good for the first day

Where can I get some cheap but reliable cards with guaranteed delivery this week? Speed is not essential, if I need to shoot fast I'll use one of my current cards.

Also I need a cheap tripod that folds down small enough to slide into the hold baggage on the flight. Must be cheap as I'd never choose it over my heavy Red-Snapper tripod over here! I used to have something like a Hama Star which just about managed - but it's broken now.

I'm in the same boat Bob, needing another 8gb CF card to take me up to 24GB for my trip to NZ (hope thats enough!) and I also need some kind of tripod or possibly bag solution to take away as the Red Snapper is far too heavy!

Not sure that 'cheap' and 'reliable' go together that well with CF cards - especially as you will be relying on them without a laptop to backup to. I would spend some decent money on sandisk's and get a few 4Gb rather than any huge ones as the bigger the card= the more you stand to lose if it fails.

Amazon have good prices on the extreme 4Gb's with next day delivery available.
