Bought some off ebay suitable for D3100 (yeah right) well my 4 year old has found a great use for them ........

Pretend telescope for playing pirates .....

I had a set of these , for my D40x and when I got my D7000 I used them on that too and they worked fine when used with my nikon 50mm AF lens because I can set the aperture manually with this lens , when doing macro I always use manual focus so you see its more about what lens you use with these tubes and not so much the camera, I now have a set of auto macro tubes so I can use them with some of my other lenes. so to use them get yourself an old nikon 50mm lens , or for £50 get a set of auto tubes.

Yeah I know, that's what I will end up getting - more a tongue in cheek post as I found it amusing the use my daughter had for them.
