Cheap Slave Flashgun Recommendations

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a pair of cheap slave flashguns to use for macro / stock photography and still life.

I intend to use these through a Hama mini photo studio.

Kitlist:
Canon 30D,
580mk2 speedlite,
radio triggers (x2).

Yongnuo. They do a manual-only gun, and also a new auto-TTL enabled jobbie. Both mega cheap :)

See the thread from Flash In The Pan in the adverterisers' section - he sells loads of stuff.
 
So these Yongnuo flashguns would fire from a PT04 trigger OK and would be suitable for a mini photo studio by aligning them on either side?
 
Aha, just the man! These flashguns are £40 each now aren't they plus £4.50 delivery?

The konig lightstands, are they specific for just flashguns or can they hold softboxes etc as well? Any more pics?

Yeah unfortunately they've gone up £2, should really be £4 as the pound has lost 10% since the sales post went up :shake:

The stands can be used for the softboxes or a flashgun/umbrella adapter setup and come with a nice carrycase :)
 
So they will hold a flashgun like these youngo speedlites straight out of the box? No additional adapter or suchlike needed?

Yes, you could do that but you don't get much control over where you point it.

FITP also sells a little ball head adapter which slips over the universal fitting on the top of the stand, with a shoe for the gun on top. There's also a slot to fit an umbrella shaft but TBH they are not really strong enough for that - perfect for a solo flashgun though.
