Cheap waterproof camera

Anyone tried one of these? Vivitar do one for around fifty quid, which is about what I plan to pay. Only want it for getting basic shots at snorkelling depth.

I've got a fuji which is waterproof to about 3mts. Wasn't to expensive either.

I haven't tried the Vivitar ones but I'm told by a mate that they are not too good, he took his back it was so bad. That said I haven't seen the pics, and my fuji compact had to be sent back an replaced as it was out of focus acoss half the frame. So theres good and bad in most makes, he might have been unlucky and got a duffer.

From what I've been able to find out the Vivitar has some battery problems. Which Fuji is it, David? 3m would be plenty for what I need. Pics any good? Did you get the replacement, Wayne? And did it work?
