What flash should I get that could fit into my budget - Jessops, Nissin and etc?

It will be my 1st flash :)

The budget is no more than 60£

Thank you first time seeing that flash to be honest and posting a thread is already paying off :) I was considering Nissin and Jessops flashes or some old Canon ones :)
 
THIS ONE is worth considering also. Read the reviews underneath.

FITP advertises on the forum and he sells them, TP members get a discount too!

To the op, save a few more £ and get a Nissin Di622, although if you want the security of a high st purchase a Jessops 360FD is also well worth considering

I can recommend the Jessops 360AFD. They're £79 new, but they're selling 2nd hand on here and on eBay within your budget. I bought a used on here for £45 and I love it.

You can usually find vouchers online to get something off the web price. There was a famous occasion last year where they messed up and ended up reducing the price in the sale and offering a voucher discount (the website and vouchers are operated by a different company on Jessops' behalf) - bringing the price down to £39, which (i was told by Jessops HQ) is less than their wholesale cost :lol:
 
Another vote for the jessops 360, a good flash and can be had on ebay new for £40

As this will be my 1st flash I just need a working one no matter used or not, from amazon or a high st retailer :)
I've read some reviews and they were giving some advantage for the YN and Nissin flashes over Jessops.

The disadvantage of the YN flash is you need to buy them online and their quality control is non-existent, so brand new flashes that are dead straight out the box are pretty common, so unless you are buying from a seller that checks every single one before shipping (rare) then you stand a good chance of having to return it and if you've bought from HK this can end up adding £10-20 onto the cost....
 
I bought a Jessops flash a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. The build quality won't match the more expensive flashes, but its still a bargain!
 
Another vote for the Jessops AFD 360. Its a very very good piece of kit for the price.

I use one as a slave but it's more than good enough to use all on it's own, which I often do.

Build is good and they are very reliable.

Only downside is it's bigger than a lot of flashes but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Can't go wrong with one IMO.
