Always pays to look through flocks of birds carefully, these were found among Black-headed gulls.

Good captures. Best way for me on the more usual challenge of picking Med Gulls out of flocks of Black-headed Gulls is the call; Meds have a lower pitched cry, which to me sounds like a theatrical 'poke in the ribs' call. BHGs however just make noise!

Cheers for the info D3S, i cant say ive ever heard a Med Gull call, time for a listen to some bird calls.
