I was recently advised that a shot taken via my 400 F2.8L was like 'looking through a pane of glass'.
I didn't think too much about it and just put it down to me being on the wrong settings.
However, my wife just noticed something while looking towards the end of the lens that I rarely see......
There is rather a lot of cobweb in there and this pic hardly does any justice to the genre of 'web photography'
And it's not a lack of use either - just a lack of checking the front end.
