This is my first set of photos I've posted. Taken at cheltenham the other day with a lumix tz5...canon was left at home dont like it getting wet! The quality isnt as great as I would like but I would like an idea of whether I am going in the right direction.

number 1 has no focal point at all just see the Jockeys over the heads of the punters that have all got there backs to the camera

to be honest this one looks as though you raised the camera at the last second and click, out of focus back of both horse and jockeys a feet missing

number 3
had you have got the newspaper in focus and the jockey out of focus would of ben the best of the bunch clearly demonstrating what the situation is
sadly its failed

number 4
this one again has the horses feet missing and it wants brightening up in a software program of some sort

look forward to seeing you shoot the horses with your Canon next time and a lot more thought going into the composition
