choosing the right camera...

Hi all...
im quite new to photography and currently own a bog standard digital camera, i'm wanting to purchase a camera so i'm able to take fairy good images at football matches just as a hobby, doesnt need to be amazingly fancy just so is quite clear ...
now the bombshell small budget around £150...
seen some fujifilm cameras e.g. finepix s1600 would these be any good for what i'm wanting??

you could go for a canon eos 300d with the 16-55 kit lens,cex sell them for £170,you should be able to get one for under this price,maybe on ebay

Difficult. Sport is one of the things compacts (eg that Fuji) are not very good at, with the seemingly inevitable shutter lag making timing difficult and frustrating.

You really need a DSLR like a used Canon 350D for a bit less than £200, plus a medium zoom of some sort for maybe another £100
