Just googled it and now it makes sense I can see what fun you can have. These are all great. What software are you using?

I will be trying it at some point.

Looks like you are getting on well with it.

Any tips of things to watch out for when doing it?

Cheers, looks like i'm the only one playing with it...

.

I've used it sometimes in my work, iv had girls come in to the studio to do vocal showreels where we record the audio and then shoot video over blue screen and sync the two.

Nice pics, right i'm a guy so pic 5 gets my vote...are those the swords the guy had in Hitman, awsome.

Cheers for the comments, i'm using FX Home Photokey pro at the moment, its a
standalone program and does green or blue. There is a free Photoshop plugin
that does work quite well here: http://www.photoshopgreenscreen.com

One thing i've found is to light the model as flatly as possible (I know some
of those arent) but it also tends to give an even light on the background.

One thing i really like about it apart from the time it saves is that any
transparent material keeps its transparency. And anyone who has tried
cutting someone out of a pic knows how hard sorting the hair out can
be, all done with a couple of clicks...

The swords were two i picked up from bbgunsuk, they're supposed to be
Ninja swords.

I've done a couple of Christmas shoots and the girls all wanted bauble pics
just made it a bit more christmassy i reckon..

I had never heard of this before, looks great fun, your pictures work reallywell, may have a try at this myself

I've got a green chromakey background and use a PS plugin called primatte.

If you go to somewhere that sells fabric you can pick up a sheet of fleecy green material for about £10-15. Being fleecy it does not crease and is matte. I find this works very well as an alternative to a professional green screen material., making sure that the background is evenly lit and then with the model 4-6' from the background also evenly lit.

The fleecy material sounds interesting, will have to look into that. Mine was
off fleabay; about £35 for 3x9 metres i think it is.

these are great, does it take long to do.
How long is a piece of string, Lol. The Christmassy ones took minutes as they
dont really need any attempt at being realistic. The ones with Kirstine and
the swords and the fantasy arty ones took about ten minutes if i remember
rightly.

Be warned though, you end up looking at the world in a completely different
arse about face way when you start tinkering around with this,

I love doing them though

You can see on this one of Hollie how the detail in her hair is maintained

Great post Rob with some wonderful images. The gothic style images are really cool.

I stumbled across this posting because of the link you put to our website, photoshopgreenscreen.com.

Anyway, my wife and I do green screen photos for events, mostly sports but a few other things mixed in as well. We use the Easy Green Screen Photoshop filter for all of our extractions.

Here's a few samples.........

Yes, the field is suppose to be blue for this one (in spirit of our local college team that plays on a blue field).

MMMMmmmm got me thinking now rob looks like great fun

hope you didnt mind me posting the link

Of course not, the links are very helpful to give the site exposure.

I saw quite a bit of traffic coming from this forum posting in the statistics over the last week so I clicked on it to check it out.

This is a great forum so I decided to join, even though I'm across the Atlantic ;).

Loving this idea, off to get me some green sheets now :)

would love to see a before and after shot (green screen visible and edited) :)

Anyone had any issues installing the plug in?
It looks like it has worked but then is not in my filter list after I restart PS.
I'm using CS5.
