This was taken from my seat my in the audience of our village Panto when 'Cinderella', a beautiful young actress, was waiting to go to the ball (i.e. waiting in the centre aisle before making her entrance on stage).
There was a harsh orange/yellow light from the rear gallery which I have tried to tone down in PS. Would it be better in black and white?
I am learning PS and photography so would appreciate your CnC.

Hi Ian

Not sure why no-one has replied yet, but I'll give it a go. You've done well to capture this but it is in need of a contrast boost and a little sharpening.

I have had a very quick go, hope you don't mind

And a B&W version

Thanks for your input my friend. I did wonder whether the B&W would be better.

Here is the original snap it came from. I am still learning PS CS4 and would love to see anyone else's interpretation and alternative treatment if they have time and the inclination to edit.
It would also be great if notes could be added as to what was done (and how!!) if anyone decides to have a go.
