Drops do form well on cds don't they, great shots here is one I did the other day, not as colourful as yours though.

edit: you have some cool macro's on your flickr, love the flower refraction there too and the cobweb dew drops

It's a soap reaction I think as the syringe I used had a little soap residue in it.
