Is there anywhere that sells these cheaply? I'm looking for the circular ones as all the hoya filters I have bought recently seem to be supplied in gigantic square boxes that take up loads of space. I'd like a couple of the little filter holders which are similar to what jessops/7dayshop filters are supplied in, round boxes that are just a bit bigger than the filter itself, usually with a bit of padding in the box.

Tried a search on amazon and got lots of filters but not boxes!
 
What size(s) are you after? I have some kicking about in a box of odds'n'sods and would be happy to send them to you for a couple of quid dropped in a charity box.
 
I'd love to know if these can be bought anywhere as well for exactly the same reason.
 
Several sizes, 72mm and 49mm so far but I do plan on buying more hoya filters so I suspect the problem might escalate! Thanks for the offer though :thumbs:
 
Might well have a 49mm ø case in that box - if not, 52mm or 55mm will do just fine but have a little room to spare. Almost certain that I haven't got a 72mm ø case though.

PM your snail mail address to me and I'll pop whatever the smallest I've got is in the post for you.
 
It's ok, Nod. I had a root through a few drawers and came up trumps with a few jessops filters I won't use so I can pinch their boxes for the smaller ones :)

It seems to be a perennial problem so there must be somewhere that sells them.
