Hi.

Just a quick one I understand you need to be idealy 90deg to the sun for these to work to there full advantage.

But on the situations when you can't be. Ok it won't work but leaving it on would it affect the photo in a bad way.

Basically would you leave it on or take it off on the situation

Thanks Jamie

It does still work, you just can't see it and the effect is negligible. If you are doing a mix of shots then leave it on. If all the shots will be like it, then may aswell take it off and get your stop of light back (unless you want to loose that stop for any reason)
I tend to leave mine on unless I know I won't use it, or the shot doesn't need it.

Thanks mate off on a once in a life time holiday in 3 weeks so don't want any mess ups lol

Thanks

Don't forget to rotate the polarizer as you're looking through your viewfinder at the scene. You'll see the effect as the sky darkens and clouds become more pronounced, and reflections in water disappear - just adjust it until until you're happy.

Yea thanks I know about that just wondered if the times when they will have no effect do I have to mess around taking it on and off

Thanks

Feel free to leave it on, it should have no perceivable effect on the photo, and if you are shooting in daylight you shouldn't miss the extra light that it cuts down on.

That's cool because if I would need to take it off I would only forget and then realise at end of day and hat wasted that day lol
Thanks

Jamie
