CISS quality

Hi All,

Got my CISS for my Epson Sx515 today.

Installed it all but not really happy with it...

I printed a photo a few days back with normal 'non genuine' cartridges, i printed the same photo today and it seems to have a pink/red cast over it... or maybe the photo last week had a green/blue cast over it. I cant decide...

I havent gone down the the calibration route etc as I only have a laptop and dont print that many photos but surely the photos shouldnt look that much different?

BTW it was from City Ink Express.

thats because its different ink or you are not getting all the ink out. Have you checked the heads to make sure they are printing as they should?

It went OK, and printed fine. Came back today and its doing the same thing... I've cleaned the heads from printer but no joy...

Looking at a CIS myself have you got this sorted?

ive never realy had any major problems with ciss and been using same one over 12 months probally longer
and only a coulpe of weeks ago did i have to fill ink up
a couple of things as any ink leaked into another chamber of a different colour
and how is your colour management. ive just calibrated my printer to match ink with cosco paper
