Was asked if I would like to shoot a classic Land Rover the other day and jumped at it..

Both have had some small tweaks in PS.

This one had some light painting and ND grads were used through out.

Man, I love those rovers. Loving the first shot btw.

It isn't a 'classic' it's a series 3, but thats just me being picky!

I have a series 2a 109 from 1963 currently in many pieces being restored.

Anyway, good shots but I feel the second one is a tad too dark. (y)

Prefer the first one.(y)
But "classic"?
Only as it's a leafer and not on coils.
If you'd had bonnet open, rivet counters would appear from the woods.

1st image is most excellent.

I would love a short wheelbase 3.5V8!!!!!

I'd say it's the right shape, but not a classic for me. It's too new, despite being the same as a '72 series. Saying that my Imp is a '76...

Image wise the second looks a wee dark here too, but I like the first.

I honestly wish I'd not made my 'not a classic' comment - I was just jokingly splitting hairs. People - stop discussing your opinions of what constitutes a classic landrover please! Give the guy some proper crit/advice if he wants it. :nono:

OP - I am sorry, didn't mean for it to go this way!

LOL.. like any thread they do wander a bit.... No worries.. I would say personally anything over 25 years constitues as a classic and cars as little as 15 years are now being consdered officially as classic... Hmmm...

Now the second of these images was very dark and moody looking and I brightened it up. Even though I had a ruddy great torch on it :wacky::bonk: I look forward to trying again with the old girl...
