Cleaning bodies

Recently bought a used Canon 1D mk2 that is in excellent condition but I'd quite like to give the body externals a clean.

I could probably clean it with bleach and I doubt it would trouble its tank like qualities but any recommendations?

Do I assume a mild soapy solution on a cloth is all you need?

If there are greasy finger marks etc. any of the kitchen surface cleaners will do. Don't spray the camera, but put a little on a cloth (micro fibre if you have one). I have used Mr. Muscle and Asda cleaners - no problems with them. If there is dust use a soft brush to remove it first.

That worked a treat thanks. Would be nervous using that on a polycarbonate body mind you.

Smells nice and lemony too! :wink:

Baby wipes would work too. They work great fir anything like carpets and clothes too!!
