Cleaning filters

My missing UV filter turned up today after 3 weeks of being missing in action Unfortunately it turned up in my 2 year olds toy box :bang:

No scratches but its got a LOT of finger prints on it and what appears to be that sticky stuff children are made of all over it....

best option for cleaning it safely? Windowlene? Mr Muscle?

I'd try a lens cleaning fluid and possibly warm soapy water. Good luck!

Whatever you'd clean a normal lens with id assume, and I doubt that's window cleaner!

I've used Fairy Liquid often enough.
