Cleaning Gear - How often

Just got around to doing a full clean of my stuff - first in quite a while... wondering how often people clean their stuff, more than just "when it's dirty".

Basically, as and when required / when it's dirty - I think the main thing I clean most frequently, is the rear LCD screen on the body - daily due to shooting with left eye, so nose rubes on screen...

I clean mine around once a month or when it gets above the point where it bothers me too much

Just when I feel like it, except if I've been somewhere that warrants a clean afterwards, e.g. the beach, etc.

Mine gets cleaned straight away if it gets dirty.

Some of my fishing gear on the other hand could do with a good clean

I used to do 1 a month but kind of forgot and wasn't shooting much, I know some people will say every time and I know they're right but unless it's visible or showing on pictures I don't see the point to do it in full every time the camera comes out of the bag. Still scared to clean the sensor myself though!

I keep microfibre in my bag for the beach or other damp conditions. I tend to check for sensor dust before each big trip (I'm a bit OCD about it).

It depends on how often I use it but I like to keep the body, lens and mounts dust free, so very regularly. I have never (touch wood) had to have a sensor cleaned.
