Cleaning the Canon 5D viewfinder

I've had enough of my dusty viewfinder, and I'll be looking at ways to do it in the morning.

But figure'd I'd ask here first - who's done it? and has anyone had any problems doing it?

I think that quite often the prism needs removing to get all of the dust, i tried blowing an an arctc butterfly to little effect. One of the staff at Harrison cameras told me that it often got stuck to th inaccessable sides of the prsm and ad to go bback to the service centre...

I've done it. A bit fiddly and needs a steady pair of hands but certainly makes a difference. I've a print out somewhere showing the stages, will hunt them out and pm you if you're interested ?

Cheers chaps! that's what I'll do - when I find some time!

And get the sensor dust sorted too... another thing that's driving me mad.
