Was just wondering. I have set my camera to clean señor but noticed some flick on when changing lenses. As a newbie what is the best way to clean camera

If it's just dust, a blast with a rocket blower should shift it - hold the body throat down while you squeeze the bulb to blow the dust out. May be worth doing it over a mirror so you can see what you're doing. If the spots are oil that has jumped from the mirror mechanism, you'll probably need to do a wet clean, using one of the many proprietary systems available. That should get rid of the spots- if it doesn't, it may spread them out a bit and let something like a lens pen sensorklear remove the residue.

Or take it to a shop to be on the safe side if ** ham fisted like me :)

The problem with blowers is that they launch the dust off the sensor but you have no control over where it goes. A favourite destination in a lot of cameras is behind the focus screen.

A better soultion is an Arctic Butterfly which is not cheap, but actually clings on to the dust until it is safely out of the camera body. It is not suitable for removal of grease, which will require a wet cleaning system.

Simon - that is the best piece of advice I have seen in a while.
