Clematis - beauty from the rain.

It was a wet depressing rainy day, but when I looked out of the window I was greeted by this beautiful flower. I must admit rain isn't my favourite weather but without rain, there would be no life. Be nice to see the sun though.

Not at all. It's a very pretty image.

Oh yeah really, really bad....

If you want my honest opinion it's probably the best photo I've seen of a flower. Really delicate but crisp focus, well lit and with the DOF set just enough to show the flower head, but hint at the leaves.

nice sharp focus and I like the diaganol framing but I would have like some rain drops to add little extra je ne sais quoi

It's a cracking photo, I just don't find the subject inspiring, it's a very flat pink. The top head is, for me, the best part of the photo, it has better colour.
